Since entering the practice of law in 1996 Scott has successfully handled hundreds cases in the Rhode Island State and Federal Courts. He served as Legal Counsel to the Senate Labor Committee and as a Solicitor for Town of Coventry.
Scott concentrates his practice on both retail and commercial debt collection. He also practices in the areas of bankruptcy, personal injury, as well as probate litigation. Scott has effectively mediated and arbitrated many cases and has appeared before several Rhode Island state agencies including the Department of Environmental Management and the Department of Labor and Training. He is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association, NARCA and the Rhode Island Creditors Bar Association. He is licensed to practice law in both Rhode Island and New York.
Scott graduated from Brandeis University and Touro Law School. He is married father of triplets and in his spare time enjoys fishing, hiking and skiing with his family.
Jennifer is an associate at Hodosh, Lyon & Hammer, joining the firm in 2013. Jennifer practice concentrates on creditor’s rights including retail and commercial debt collection, business and commercial litigation, and landlord- tenant matters. She also handles matters involving subrogation, estate planning, personal injury, and other civil matters. She takes pride in gaining meaningful relationships and views each client as a top priority.
Jennifer if a life-long resident of North Kingstown, Rhode Island. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Rhode Island in 2010 with dual majors in English and Secondary Education. She than obtained her Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law, Cum Laude in 2013. Jennifer is admitted to practice law in the State of Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the State of Rhode Island. She is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association and NARCA.
When Jennifer is not working she enjoys spending time with her family, husband and two dogs, boating, traveling and watching sports.
